Text: Mark 8: 1-13
Anytime God asks you to give him something, know he really wants to multiply what you have. Bear in mind that he is not a tax master. He has your best interest at heart.
What you have presently cannot be increased or multiplied unless you give it to God as instructed. The human mind cannot work with God. It cannot understand the spiritual mathematics of heaven. Before Moses worked with God, God had asked him what was in his hand. And with the rod in his hand God did wonders. Give God what you have today, and he will give you what you do not have.
From our Bible readings, Jesus saw the multitudes that had followed him for three days. They were hungry and weary. Filled with compassion for the people he demanded that they should be fed instead of being sent away hungry. To solve this challenge, he demanded what they had. And all they had were few loaves of bread and small fish. These Jesus used to feed four thousand people, and yet seven baskets remained. Jesus is a multiplier. So give him what you have today. Touch someone’s life positively.
